Bailey Quotes

Bailey talked today about learning a new word. Throughout the day she would say one. But there was one she was saving for when Daddy got home tonight. (I don't know what that ended up being...yet) The first one was "February." I asked if she learned that at school and she said No she learned it at home. The other words were "junior high," "forecast," and "Arizona." She knows it is warm in Arizona, as that is where Grandpa is right now for a "long time."

Bailey slept in her footsie jammies last night. When I took them off to get her dressed, I snuggled up with her and told her she was toasty and warm, "just like an oven!" She replied, "No I'm not! I have feet! And a head!"

We read the book "Dinosaurumpus" tonight. Not one that we have read in a while, as we have been reading new books from Christmas lately. She "read" the first 2 pages (4 sentences)! Obviously not reading but from memory. I was shocked. As I went a long, she would say a few words here and there with me. Amazing. Oh, and one of the Words of the Day was "quiver" which happens to be on page one of this book.
